New Work in Portfolio

I recently updated the on-line portfolio with some new work. The first piece is a design and illustration for a moving card for another design firm:

I really like how this piece turned out. Its a different style for me, and it was great to push myself in a new direction.

The second piece is a logo done as a freelance project for another design firm:

Illustration Friday: Excess

Here's my Illustration Friday entry for Excess. I had so many ideas for this one, it was hard to pare down - but I decided to go with a holiday theme. I also finally got to try one of the textures from Von Glitschka's book Crumble Crackle Burn, which I have been really looking forward to playing with. Highly reccommend it! Such fun to work with.
